Alan Sandys

Artist statement:
my name is Alan Sandys, I am an illustration student at UCA.
I like to focus on themes of nature folklore and queerness in mythology.
I use both physical and digital media, but I have a bit of a preference for physical media. I enjoy using traditional pen and ink, but also using more experimental materials like clay and textiles.
I am constantly looking for ways to make things new and interesting and I enjoy exploring new mediums, especially if they are tactile in nature.
